Since things changed when you moved the fuses and relays I'd start with going back to the fuses and checking the contacts, make sure there's no corrosion in there. Sidelights are working still.
Do you know which colour wires it is? I've checked all the 10amp fuses, and I believe both headlights have seperate fuses. grrr. Advertisements Important Attempting repairs can be dangerous.
