OK, for strange reason, if we use a non ttx file for datasource when designing the Crystal Report, it simply just refuses to discard the original data and reset the datasource. I would have to look at it again to say yes or no. After digging around in WinDbg i found out that the problem has it root in FW 4.0 Assembly bindning behavor. You are using the Preview Tool in VS or the Cyrstal Report Viewer?
