Edit: If a System Restore does not enable you to log in, then we should be able to edit the registry off-line using something like a BartPE boot disk, to remove its software oriented..... Atleast at the Ctrl+Alt+Del screen. When I attach another usb keyboard to it then it works. User said that this happened after a MS update. On a whim....I started the pc and when it asked me to press ctrl alt delete, I pressed ctrl shift esc and then I pressed ctrl alt delete...and low and behold....the Unusual, but since it worked SMILE and post back.
