Yes, I am able to get my screensaver/sleep/hibernate to work, but ONLY by uninstalling the drivers that came with my mouse and keyboard. There has been no bios update recently for the 1501. It began to intermittently fail to recognize one of the ram modules. As a guest, you can browse and view the various discussions in the forums, but can not create a new topic or reply to an existing one unless you are logged If I do that, everything works fine. by rpnadal08 · 6 years ago In reply to Been here-Done it Well after countless hrs, all sorts registry re-writes, patches and even installed tiny XP ver9 (after windows 7 install) Too bad I did not set up her computer so I could remote from mine and do everything myself. This fixed my screensaver not working issue. I ran malwarebytes, then installed Explorer 8 and all Windows updates, and ran Windows Defender as well as CCleaner.
