then your coolant reserve should overflow because thats where the coolant will go or wherever the coolant can find its way out (weak point). if thermostat is stucked closed, the water pump still pumps rights? I live in ohio and don't know if it is just the cold weather right now or if the fan does not work. Radiator was not recently changed.

the fan was good, so I replaced the coolant temp sensor in the bottom of the radiator and i still couldn't get the fan to kick on. This should close the circuit and turn the fan on. You can only upload a photo or a video. If it looks like milk chocolate then its a bad head gasket for sure.
