This happens every winter. If its more than 5 yrs old, I'd go new. I would try replacing the wire first before spending the $30 or so dollars on new eyes. I decided the proposed charges were excessive and chose to change out the sensors myself.To install, cut the wires from the old sensors and remove from their mount.
