i did have a windows update a week or so ago and the problem has occurred ever since. When I backed out of the PDF viewer and tried copy/paste again it worked. When I backed out of the PDF viewer and tried copy/paste again it worked. I never needed to mess with my Registry.

As soon as i highlight something and right click, the computer freezes for a minute or two and you can't do anything.
