Did you perform the procedure on the W7 or W2k8? Several days it was a problem attempting to copy from an Internet page (IE9) to a WORD document (just happens to be 7MB large!). Since i only use this computer for working purposes it cant be anything ive downloaded! But you have to go into its config to tell it to ignore the clipboard cache when it does it's memory management tasks.
Just for the heck of it, I'd try the main menu's "edit/copy and edit/paste" or the keyboard shortcuts of ctrl-c (copy) and ctrl-v (paste) and see if either of those work. Shame on Microsoft!
