Look for clipboard and make sure its automatic, and enabled, and started. This was the culprit for one fellow, and perhaps you are running a program similar to better manage memory. I need you to answer a few questions so that maybe I can help you out; did you confirm rdpclip.exe started successfully when you tired to restart it?
I have tried the Copy Paste with every application from IE and Word, to notepad and command line and the behavior is the same ... This problem has solutions, and for that, the required modifications must be made in the Java Control Panel. and none of the above methods worked!!
